Chairman and CEO
Robert has more than 27 years of experience in healthcare sales, management, marketing, and fund-raising. In 1989, Robert
started Vericom to address the unique communications challenges of healthcare leaders with SoundCare® on-hold messaging.
With consistent upward growth at Vericom, Robert has remained true to his healthcare roots, launching ChannelCare® digital
signage in 2006. With ChannelCare, Vericom is leading the way in the healthcare digital signage market with a turnkey offering that
uniquely addresses the challenges of communicating within the four walls of a hospital. Vericom’s goal has remained consistent: to
offer sustainable audio and visual content and technology solutions that can significantly impact the behavior of all healthcare
Robert earned his B.A. in business administration at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA.
Bob joined Vericom in December 2009 as director of client relations and account management and was promoted to president in
January 2011. His focus is on the organizational development and the strategic and operational direction of the company.
Bob has a proven track record in executive leadership positions, including vice president and general manager of the MarketSource
Corporation. His healthcare experience also includes 15 years in various clinical, sales, leadership, and international roles for 3M’s
Medical Surgical Division, as well as seven years experience as a surgical technologist and surgical instructor for physicians in the
Bob holds a B.S. in psychology from the University of Maryland.
VP of Technology and Product Development
Tim has over 20 years of experience with technology, software development, and media production. He joined Vericom in 1993 with
a focus on product development and enhancements to Vericom’s SoundCare on-hold messaging audio product. After spending
several years leading enterprise and web software development efforts, Tim rejoined Vericom in 2003. He was instrumental in
leading the development of ChannelCare digital signage. Tim is responsible for product development as well as technology and
media integration efforts at Vericom.
Tim received his B.S. in computer science and B.S. in commercial music recording, both from Georgia State University in Atlanta,
Director of Marketing
Kara joined Vericom in May 1995 and is responsible for all of Vericom’s marketing efforts including client expansion programs,
branding, new product applications, direction of content development, business development opportunities, and more.
Prior to Vericom, Kara was product manager and consultant for Enzon in Piscataway, NJ with P&L responsibility for two
biopharmaceutical products for cancer and ADA-deficient SCID. Kara’s 23 years of healthcare experience also includes managing
sales for laboratory research equipment and working in corporate development for Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Kara has a B.A. in business administration and French from Gettysburg College and studied in Paris through Middlebury College’s
French Language School study abroad program.
Director, Human Asset Management and Development
Marya joined Vericom in September 2007 and is responsible for hiring, developing, and retaining the best and brightest employees
in our industry. Marya brings over 10 years of experience developing hands-on knowledge of the needs of today’s ever-changing
HR environment. Prior to joining Vericom, Marya held various human resources positions in healthcare, consulting, distribution, and
the financial services sectors of business.
Marya holds an M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelors Degree in finance from Alabama State University. She
is also an active member of the Atlanta chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.
Director, Customer Engagement
Amanda joined Vericom in April, 2010 as an account manager, bringing with her eight years of experience as the marketing
manager for an Atlanta-based general contractor . In her current role as director, customer engagement, she is responsible for
mentoring and coaching the client relations and account management staff as they build relationships with clients and provide
extraordinary customer service. She is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.
Amanda holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Georgia with a concentration in public relations.
Manager of Media Services
Eric began his career at Vericom in September of 2005 as Manager of Media Services. Eric is responsible for support services at
Vericom for all audio and visual solutions.
Before joining Vericom, Eric spent several years supporting and developing interactive kiosks and digital display systems for The
Kiosk and Display Company. Prior to that position, he managed customer support groups for interactive point-of-sale systems at
Radiant Systems. He brings a 15-year background in computers and customer support to his current role.
Eric studied information systems at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA.
ChannelCare Sales Executive
Mike joined the Vericom team in December 2010, bringing 25 years of healthcare sales experience and extensive relationships
within the hospital market from his years with Olympus America and Axium Medical Group.
Mike’s background in engineering, business development, training, and sales offers Vericom a unique opportunity to penetrate the
hospital market and increase market share in the healthcare digital signage arena, by offering healthcare providers both technical
and educational support, vital to a successful and sustainable digital signage implementation.
Mike has completed extensive professional sales courses and also served in the U.S. Navy.
